Mark Your Calendar for the 2016 WODAC Pet Expo

The WODAC Pet Expo is the largest of its kind in South Africa and allows the South African Pet Industry to showcase their business potential. This year the expo will take place at the Gallagher Convention Centre.
If you are an animal lover, you have to mark your calendar for the 2016 WODAC Pet Expo. The expo was started in 1996 and moved from the Durban Exhibition Centre to the Coca-Cola Dome in Johannesburg. In 2011, the expo was moved to the Gallagher Convention Centre. It’s an extremely popular event and promises to hold a lot of entertainment and educational info for everyone owning a pet.

More than 20,000 visitors attended Expo last year and WODAC generated almost R10 million during their marketing campaign. The expo is supported by all major big companies and there are ample parking for visitors at the expo. WODAC has a large social media following and it’s a must-see expo.
Information for Visitors
The expo offers shows like dog jumping, weaving pole challenges, canine breed parades, and loads more. As a visitor, you can enjoy a variety of stands, including accessories, cat, and dog food, pharmaceutical products, welfare, as well as selection of breeders and trainers. There will also be two indoor arenas that will be packed with an equine ring as well as a demonstration pavilion. Unfortunately, visitors are not allowed to bring their own pets, for safety reasons.
Wuma Dog Food will be exhibiting at this event from 15 – 17 July 2016 and tickets will be available at the door, or from Computicket. The expo will open at 10h00 on Friday, and from 09H00 on Saturday and Sunday. Friday will be considered a fun family day, and children under 12 can enter free of charge. – stand 52 and 53
The Hall of Pets will showcase a wide variety of dogs and cats that you can enjoy. Take the whole family and learn more about how to choose the best pet, and how to properly care for each individual animal. In addition to dogs and cats, there is also a Hall of Reptiles. You can get loads of advice and guidance on reptile ownership and proper care.
